In "Rear View," Walt and Lisa take readers on a deeply personal journey through the harrowing and transformative experience of infertility. What begins as a medical diagnosis becomes a crucible that reshapes their understanding of faith, perseverance, and the unseen threads of hope that God weaves into their lives.
Lisa Joy Page grew up in a strict, faith-based home in Queens, NY, where she started singing at the age of 3. In her pre-adolescent years, Lisa was a featured soloist in the Metropolitan Tri-State area, often appearing on programs with the young Whitney Houston. Having been mentored by gospel greats such as Edwin Hawkins and Donnie McClurkin as a teenager, Lisa had the opportunity to work with many gospel giants.
Lisa appeared on the Food Network’s Emeril Live show as a guest holiday soloist and was also featured on NBC’s holiday premiere. As a trained actress, Lisa has acted on daytime soap operas and many “On” and “Off” Broadway plays nationwide. Her passion for acting and singing has enabled her to write and produce stage plays, including musicals for which she wrote and arranged the songs. Often referred to as a singer’s singer, Lisa has a voice with an anointing that captures the heart of all who listen.
Having a heart for God and people, Lisa embraces the gift to offer praise and worship in song. Lisa has always encouraged other singers to worship God in spirit and in truth and has provided support to many struggling artists. After eleven years of trying, Lisa and her manager-husband, Walter, conceived their 3 sons, which led the family to relocate from New York to North Carolina. This miracle was evidence to Lisa that God not only heard her prayers, but it was time for her to answer His calling to show the world that He is Lord! Lisa enjoys allowing God to use her to minister to the body of Christ. Aside from leading worship and co-owning a successful Change Management company with her husband, Walter, Lisa is an author, a mighty prayer warrior, and teaches on the principles of answered prayer as per the Word of God. Lisa considers it a privilege to continue to minister, write, sing, and be used as a vessel for God’s kingdom.

Lisa's unique tonality caught the attention of the R&B industry in the eighties and afforded her opportunities to work with and record duets on various platinum albums, sing backup for Luther Vandross, write songs for Toni Braxton and Vanessa Williams and provide vocal training for new singers signed to Sony Records. Lisa coupled her talents with Dr. Freeze (producer for Michael Jackson, Bell Biv DeVoe, Color Me Badd) and her nephew, the late Darrol “Shamello” Durant, and came up with a sound that was second to none in the New Jack Swing era. As a communications major in college, Lisa also worked at WTHE – New York’s first gospel radio station, as a disc jockey with her sister, Barbara Dee, and provided voice-over talent for web-based training for many fortune 500 companies, such as Verizon and Citicorp.
